Muslim youth stabbed to death in Bhopal after Ramadan prayers

In Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal, a 22-year-old Muslim youth, Adnan Khan, was stabbed to death and murdered by three Hindu men on his way home from Ramadan prayers at the mosque. Two of the attackers held Adnan down while the third stabbed him in the stomach. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police accused of collusion in fatal cow vigilante attack

In Palwal, Haryana, Hindu extremist cow vigilantes kidnapped a truck driver and his associate, brutally beat them, and threw them into a canal on suspicion of cow smuggling. Reportedly, police stopped the truck and handed them over to the extremists. While the driver survived, his passenger, Sandeep, died. 

Nine arrested, imam detained over iftar announcement in Uttar Pradesh mosque

In Rampur, Uttar Pradesh, Hindu supremacists reacted with outrage after a mosque used a loudspeaker to announce iftar, a meal Muslims take at sunset to break their fast in Ramadan. Police arrested nine people, including the mosque’s imam, while authorities removed the loudspeaker from the mosque. The mosque has served about 20 Muslim families for nearly two decades.
