Muslim youth arrested for criticizing police officer’s anti-Muslim remarks

At Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, police arrested a Muslim youth after he criticized a Hindu police officer, Anuj Kumar Chowdhury, who made anti-Muslim remarks around the Hindu festival Holi. Following his arrest, the victim was forced to issue an apology, with a video of him apologizing from inside a jail cell going viral. His post had condemned Chowdhury’s statement, where the officer said, 

J&K police officer forces Muslim herdsmen to chant slogans, touch cattle’s feet

A police officer in Jammu and Kashmir harassed two Muslim herdsmen for allegedly dragging their cattle while grazing. He forced them to chant Hindu supremacist slogans and touch their cattle’s feet, then circulated a video of the incident as a warning to local Muslims. A police report was filed in the case.

BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay pushes anti-Muslim conspiracies at public event

At an event in Delhi, Hindu supremacist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Supreme Court lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay promoted multiple anti-Muslim conspiracy theories at a public event, including ‘love jihad,’ ‘land jihad,’ ‘drug jihad,’ ‘infiltration jihad,’ and ‘population jihad.’ He also stoked fears about the Muslim population and madrasas, declaring, “There was only one Aurangzeb (Mughal ruler) in the past, but today they are everywhere.”
