Muslim driver attacked in Maharashtra, forced to say Jai Sri Ram

In Maharashtra’s Thane, a Muslim driver was beaten by a group of at least six Hindu extremists and forced to chant the Hindu supremacist warcry “Jai Shri Ram,” which is often associated with mob lynchings. The attackers also forcefully removed his skull cap, a head covering often worn by Muslim men. 

Hindu extremist cow vigilantes chase truck transporting cattle

In Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Haryana’s Faridabad, Hindu extremist cow vigilantes  chased a truck transporting cattle, endangering lives with reckless driving. The militia is known for chasing trucks and assaulting occupants over allegations of cattle transport. 

Far-right leaders continue to deliver anti-Muslim hate speech in Maharashtra 

In Mumbai, Maharashtra, Hindu supremacist influencers – including mainstream news editor Suresh Chavhanke – gave speeches containing anti-Muslim dog whistles. Hindu extremist monk Swami Govinddev Giri called for repeating the violent and illegal demolition of the Babri Mosque by destroying other historic mosques in Uttar Pradesh state.
