Mosque bulldozed in Uttar Pradesh after Hindu extremists call it “encroachment”

Officials in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar bulldozed a mosque immediately after a stay order issued by the state High Court expired. The mosque was targeted for demolition after a complaint was filed by local Hindu extremist groups, claiming it was an illegal encroachment.

In Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, prominent Hindu militant group Bajrang Dal organized an event at a school, where extremist speakers worked to radicalize Hindu schoolchildren by telling them about the importance of establishing a Hindu ethno-state. 

Hindu extremists demand “cow killers” be shot

In Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Hindu extremist groups held a protest against the alleged killing of a cow at a cow shelter, demanding that people who kill cows be shot. The extremists explicitly targeted Muslims during their protests, calling for Muslims to be expelled and “shut down.”
