Indian American Muslim Council in New Jersey helps first responders

The New Jersey Chapter of the Indian American Muslim Council (http://www.iamc.com) an advocacy group with a mission to safeguard India’s pluralist and tolerant ethos, organized an online fund raiser for supporting First Responders of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state of New Jersey.

A group of more than 100 members of the Indian Muslim community in New Jersey, participated in a fundraiser for donating Personal Protective Equipment, PPEs, to the state’s First Responders. The staff and hospital managements greatly appreciated IAMC’s efforts, a May 5, 2020 press release from the organization said.

“This pandemic has brought out the best of humanity, and every life saved is taking us close to saving the mankind” Mudassir Ansari, general secretary of IAMC-NJ, is quoted saying in the press release. “Safeguarding our first responders is our first and foremost duty” he added.
