Hindu extremists assaulted a Muslim man, Shamim Khan, over allegations of cow slaughter in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. In a video of the incident, the Hindu extremists called the victim slurs and threatened to kill him. Instead of taking action against the assaulters, police filed a complaint against Khan and demolished his two-room house.
In Gurugram, Haryana, Hindu extremist cow vigilantes harassed and assaulted two truck drivers for transporting camels.
Hindu extremists assault Christians over allegations of forced conversion
In Raigarh, Chattisgarh, members of Hindu extremist groups assaulted Christians over baseless allegations of engaging in forced religious conversions. Earlier, acting on a complaint by far-right groups, police raided a community center where members of the Christian community had gathered for prayers. They made multiple arrests and confiscated dozens of Bibles.
BJP lawmaker says Muslim women must not wear Hijab in schools
Far-right BJP lawmaker Balmukund Acharya objected to the wearing of hijab in schools and students and made students raise slogans of “Jai Sri Ram,” during an event at a school in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
In a video shared online, Acharya can be heard saying, “Hijab has spoiled the atmosphere here [at the school function].” As he walked past the crowd of students, he was seen directing the school administration to “get all this (hijab) changed.” Notably, the school has 85% Muslim students.

In Raigarh, Chhattisgarh and Jalgaon, Maharashtra, far-right leader Kajal Hindustani delivered inflammatory speeches filled with disinformation and conspiracy theories to stoke fear and hatred against Muslims. She also advocated starting compulsory arms training for Hindus.
