Hindu extremist mobs brutally assault Muslims while shouting “Jai Sri Ram”
A violent Hindu extremist mob in Raipur, Chattisgarh brutally attacked an imam of a mosque while chanting “Jai Sri Ram, ” a Hindu extremist warcry that is commonly associated with mob lynchings, and other slogans such as, “If you want to live in India, you must say Jai Sri Ram.”
In Sangareddy, Telangana, a Muslim man, Abbas, was assaulted and publicly paraded naked by a Hindu extremist mob who also tried to set the man’s private parts on fire, claiming that they were punishing him for disrespecting the saffron flag.

Police in Kerala state booked a 62-year-old Muslim activist, Muhammad Salim, for holding a one-man protest against the demolition of Babri Mosque during the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya city. Despite it being a peaceful protest, the police have booked him for “intent to cause a riot” and “intent to create enmity”.
