A Hindu extremist mob vandalized a Christian-owned school and assaulted a Christian priest in Telangana’s Mancherial while chanting the Hindu supremacist slogan “Jai Sri Ram”. The mob also broke windows and pelted stones at a statue of Mother Teresa.
The mob attacked after accusing the school management of not permitting Hindu students to wear religious dress, an allegation that was described as misleading, according to the school authorities.
