BJP leader says Christian converts will not be allowed to live in Madhya Pradesh district

Hindu extremist and BJP leader Bhojraj Nag said that people who convert to Christianity will not be allowed to live in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh’s Bastar district, alleging that the Christian community was involved in forced religious conversions.

Recently in Bastar, Hindu supremacists protested against a burial ground allotted by the government to the minority Christian community.

Hindu extremist cow vigilantes assaulted a truck driver in Rajasthan’s Alwar for allegedly transporting cattle. The victim was forced to chant the Hindu supremacist warcry “Jai Sri Ram” and other slogans. 

Similar incidents were also reported in Haryana and Odisha, where Hindu extremist cow vigilantes assaulted people over allegations of transporting cattle.

BJP lawmaker calls for mosque demolitions, seeks “revenge” for 1000-years of Muslim rule

In Karnataka, BJP lawmaker Anant Kumar Hegde threatened to demolish mosques in the state while demanding “revenge for the past 1,000 years”, referring to Muslim Mughal in India. 

Similar threats were made against other mosques and Mughal-era landmarks. In Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, BJP leader Abhay Singh incited Hindus to take over the historic landmark Taj Mahal and the Shahi Idgah mosque in Mathura. In Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Hindu supremacist group Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad leader Arpit Gupta called on Hindus to “reclaim” multiple mosques.

Police open fire at alleged “cattle smugglers,” victims sustain bullet wounds

In separate incidents in Hardoi and Ghazipur in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, police fired at alleged “cattle smugglers,” who sustained bullet injuries in their legs. The incident is the latest in an ongoing trend of violent attacks against predominantly Muslim cattle traders by law enforcement. Over the last month, multiple instances of injuries and the death of a Muslim man due to police firing have occurred over the same allegations.
