Babri Masjid was not built after demolition of any temple: AIMPLB’s stand on disputed land
The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) decided that no land belonging to Babri Masjid be transferred to anyone from the opposite party. The decision was taken in an AIMPLB meeting chaired by president of AIMPLB Mohammad Rabey Hussaini Nadwi.
The AIMPLB is of the view that legal proceedings are in a final phase and there is no possibility of out of court settlement. The AIMPLB said that the case is watched over in India but also by other nations around the world. The meeting observed that this a ‘matter of rich Indian culture and heritage’.
The AIMPLB expressed satisfaction on court representation by advocate Rajeev Dhawan. The AIMPLB also believes and is hopeful that the Supreme Court (SC) will pronounce a judgment in favour of Muslims in the country.
