4 arms suppliers arrested in city
Two inter-State modules supplying illegal arms and ammunition have been busted and four persons arrested in connection with the case, the police said on Thursday.
DCP (Special Cell) P.S. Kushwah said that the accused have been identified as Bachchu Singh (55), Ajay Salve (35), Ranjit Singh alias Neetu Jaat (55) and Nakshe Lal (21).
The police said that an information was received in the last week of April that Bachchu Singh, a resident of UP’s Aligarh and supplier of illegal arms, would come to Delhi after which a trap was laid and he, along with his accomplice Ajay Salve, was arrested from near Mathura Road on Monday. “A total of 35 pistols and 60 live cartridges were seized from their possession,” Mr. Kushwah said.…
