35 Muslims jailed, 11 homes demolished after communal clashes
Civic officials in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly demolished the homes of 11 Muslim families following the death of a Hindu man, Tej Ram, during communal clashes at a Muslim religious procession. Thirty-five individuals, all Muslims, were jailed following the clashes.
The wife of one of the jailed men accused the police of taking one-sided action. “No one is interested in our side of the story. People from both sides were injured, and a third party exploited the situation to frame my husband and others,” she said.

Muslims re-arrested for waving Palestinian flag after complaints from Hindu militants
In Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, four Muslim men have been re-arrested for waving the Palestinian flag during a religious procession, following complaints from the Hindu militant group Bajrang Dal. A number of Muslim men in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Kashmir have been arrested for waving the Palestinian flag at religious processions.
Meanwhile, police have taken no action against anti-Palestinian hatred and support for Israel’s genocidal onslaught. Recently, in Khandwa, Hindu extremists leader Ashok Paliwal called on Hindus to attack and kill supporters of Palestin.
Two Hindu friends arrested for issuing death threat to Hindu militant leader
Two Hindu men were arrested after a leader of the Hindu militant group Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, Santosh Sharma, claimed he received a death threat letter from a Muslim woman. However, a police investigation revealed that the letter was written by the two Hindu men, who were close friends of Sharma.
The letter, evidently written to fuel anti-Muslim hatred, contained a death threat along with the phrase “Allahu Akbar.”
Far-right leaders urge Hindus to buy weapons at rally in Delhi
In Doddaballapur, Karnataka, a Hindu supremacist speaker delivered an inflammatory speech referring to Indian Muslims as “traitors” and “Pakistan’s secret weapon.”
In the capital city of Delhi, Hindu supremacist leaders gave anti-Muslim hate speeches, advocated for violence, and called on Hindus to buy weapons. Hindu extremist leader Pinki Chaudhry also called for an anti-Muslim boycott.
In Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, BJP leader T. Raja Singh delivered a hate speech in which he threatened violence against Muslims and called for taking over three Muslim places of worship.
